এই প্রদর্শনীটি পেট্টল ইঞ্জিনের কার্যনীতি প্রদর্শন করে।পেট্টল ইঞ্জিন গ্যাসোলিন ইঞ্জিন নামেও পরিচিত এটি স্পার্ক-ইগনিশন সহ অন্তর্দাহী ইঞ্জিন যা পেট্টল এবং অনুরূপ উদ্বায়ী জ্বালানীতে চালানোর উপযোগী করে জিজাইন করা হয়। জালালী ও বায়ু মিশ্রনের পদ্ধতির উপর নির্ভর করে ডিজেল ইঞ্জিন থেকে এটি ছথক হয়ে থাকে। ১৮৮৩ সালে ম্যানহেইমে কার্ল বেঞ্জ শিল্প ইঞ্জিন উৎপাদন শুরু করেন। ১৮৮৬ সালের ২৯ জানুয়ারিতে পেটেন্ট করার পর ১৮৮৬ সালের ৩ জুলাই জার্মানীর ম্যানহেইস বেঞ্জ অন্তর্দাহী ইঞ্জিন চালিত প্রথম গ্যাসেলিন গাড়ি প্রদর্শক করেন।
