শব্দের পরিবর্তন

উপর  থেকে ঝোলানো ধাতব নলগুলিকে এক এক করে হাতুড়ি  দিয়ে আঘাত করুন।খেয়াল করে শুনন আলাদা আলাদা সুরের শব্দ সৃষ্টি করছে। কোন নলকে আঘাত করলেই তার আভ্যন্তরীণ বায়ু স্তম্ভের দৈর্ঘ্যের উপর নির্ভরশীল একটি তীক্ষ্ণতার তথা নির্দিষ্ট কম্পান্কের শব্দ রি হয়। বায়ু স্তম্ভের দৈর্ঘ্য যত কম হবে তার কম্পনজাত শব্দের তীক্ষ্ণতা ও কম্পান্ক তত কম হবে।     

 Sound Variation

Hit the freely hanging metallic pipes one by the small hammer given. Listen to the different musical notes emitted by different pipes. As you hit a pipe, the air column inside it starts vibrating and sound of a particular pitch is given out.The frequency or pitch of this sound depends on the length of the air column, the higher is the pitch.
