কেন্দ্রাতিগ বল
এই প্রদর্শনীবস্তটি কেন্দ্রাতিগবল প্রদর্শন করে। কেন্দ্রাতিগ বল হলো এমন বল, যা ঘূর্ণায়মান বস্তুর ঘূর্ণনের কেন্দ্রে বিপরীত দিকে কাজ করে। নিউটনের তৃতীয় সূত্রের বলজোড় নীতির আলোকে কেন্দ্রাভিক বলের প্রতিক্রিয়া হিসেবে কেন্দ্রাতিগ বলের উদ্ভব ঘটে। ফলে কেন্দ্রাভিক বলের ন্যায় কেন্দ্রাতিগবল বস্তুর ভর ও স্পর্শক বরাবর গতিবেগের বর্গের সমানুপাতিক এবং ঘূর্ণন ব্যাসার্ধের ব্যাস্তানুপাতিক। যখন প্রদর্শনীবস্তুটির ঘূর্ণকটিকে ঘুরানো হয় তখন এর সাথে আবদ্ধ বস্তুটি অক্ষ বরাবর সংকুচিত হয় এবং কেন্দ্রাতিগবলের কারণে নিরক্ষীয় অঞ্চল স্ফীত হয়। সে কারণে, পৃথিবী তার নিরক্ষীয় অঞ্চলে স্ফীত। ফলশ্রতিতে, এটা মনে করা যায় যে, পৃথিবী একদা গলিত ছিল। কেন্দ্রাতিগবল ব্যবহার করে আমরা নিত্যদিনের অনেক কাজ করতে পারি যেমনঃ দুধ থেকে মাখন বের করা। কেন্দ্রাতিগবলের ধারনা হাইগেন্স, নিউটন, লিবনিজ ও হুকের সময়ে থেকে এসেছে যাতে তাঁরা এর উপর প্রাথমিক ধারনা দিয়েছিলেন। অষ্টাদশ ও উনবিংশ শতাব্দীতে প্রসঙ্গ কাঠামোর ঘূর্ণনজনিত কারণে কল্পিত বল বা ছদ্ম বল হিসেবে আধুনিক ধারণা আবির্ভূত হয়েছে।
This exhibit demonstrates centrifugal force. Centrifugal force is such force, which acts outward from the centre of rotation of a rotary body. Centrifugal force is arisen from the reaction of centripetal force according to Newton’s third law force pair. So like centripetal force, centrifugal force is proportional to mass and square of tangential velocity and inversely proportional to radius of rotation. When the rotor of the exhibit is rotated, then the object attached to it is shrink along the axis and inflated in equatorial zone due to centrifugal force. That is why; the earth is inflated of her equatorial zone. Consequently, it is thought that once upon a time the earth was molten. Centrifugal force is used in our daily life for different purposes like as: to churn up butter from milk. The conception of centrifugal force has evolved since the time of Huygens, Newton, Leibniz, and Hooke who expressed early conceptions of it. The modern conception as a fictitious force or pseudo force due to a rotating reference frame as described above evolved in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

মুনীরা সুলতানা এনডিসি, অনানুষ্ঠানিক বিজ্ঞান শিক্ষা কার্যক্রমের মাধ্যমে একটি বিজ্ঞানমনস্ক জাতি গঠনের লক্ষে ৩১ অক্টোবর, ২০২৪খ্রিঃ তারিখে জাতীয় বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি জাদুঘরের মহাপরিচালক হিসেবে দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করেন।
তিনি ১৯৯৩ সালে বাংলাদেশ সিভিল সার্ভিস প্রশাসন ক্যাডারে যোগদানের মধ্য দিয়ে কর্মজীবন শুরু করেন। তিনি বেশিরভাগ সময় বিভিন্ন মন্ত্রণালয় ও অধিদপ্তরে এবং মাঠ প্রশাসনে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে উদ্ভিদবিদ্যা বিভাগ থেকে তিনি স্নাতকোত্তর ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন। চাকরিতে কর্মরত অবস্থায় তিনি নর্দান ইউনিভার্সিটি, ঢাকা থেকে গভর্নেন্স স্টাডিজ বিষয়ে দ্বিতীয় স্নাতকোত্তর ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন। তিনি ২০১৮ সালে ন্যাশনাল ডিফেন্স কলেজ থেকে ন্যাশনাল ডিফেন্স কোর্স সাফল্যের সাথে সম্পন্ন করেন।
চাকুরিরত অবস্থায় তিনি দেশে এবং বিদেশে বিভিন্ন পেশাগত প্রশিক্ষণ কোর্স সাফল্যের সাথে সম্পন্ন করেন। একটি বিজ্ঞানমনস্ক জাতি গঠনে এবং সারা দেশে বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তির সুফল ছড়িয়ে দিতে তিনি নিরলস কাজ করে যাচ্ছেন।

Munira Sultana ndc, took charge as Director General of National Museum of Science and Technology on October 31, 2024 with the aim of building a science minded nation through informal science education programs.
She started her carrier in the Bangladesh Civil Service administration cadre in 1993. She served mostly in field administration and different ministries and directorate. She earned her degree of M.Sc. in Botany from the University of Dhaka. While in service, she earned a second Masters degree in Governance Studies from the Northern University, Dhaka. She completed the National Defense Course successfully in 2018 from National Defense College.
She acquired various professional training courses during her service period in home and abroad and keenly interested in building a science minded nation and spread the blessings of Science and Technology across the country.
