পেশাদারী ভিডিও ক্যামেরা (প্রায়ই টেলিভিশন ক্যামেরা নামে পরিচিত যদিও টেলিভিশন ছাড়াও অন্য কাজে ব্যবহৃত হয়) ইলেক্ট্রনিক চলন্ত ছবি তৈরির  জন্য উচুমানের জটিল যন্ত্র (এর বিপরীতে মুভি ক্যামেরার যা ফিল্মি ছবি ধারন করে)। প্রথমে এই ক্যামেরা টেলিভিশন স্টুডিওতে ব্যবহারের জন্য তৈরি করা হয়েছিল, বর্তমানে ব্যবসায়িক ও শিক্ষামূলক ভিডিও, গানের ভিডিও এবং প্রত্যক্ষভাবে ভিডিও মুভির কাজে ব্যবহৃত হচ্ছে। দুই ধরনের পেশাদারী ভিডিও ক্যামেরা আছেঃ একটি হলো উঁচুমানের জটিল বহনযোগ্য রেকর্ডিং ক্যামেরা যা ইলেক্ট্রনিক সংবাদ সংগ্রহ ও ইলেক্ট্রনিক ক্ষেত্র উৎপাদনের জন্য ছবি সংরক্ষণ কাজে ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং টেলিভিশন রেকর্ডিং ক্যামেরা যাতে  ক্যামকোর্ডারে রেকর্ডিং সক্ষমতা নেই ও সাধারণতঃ ধারকের উপর স্থিরকৃত বহনযোগ্য পেশাদারী ক্যামেরা সাধারণত নিত্য ব্যবহার্য ক্যামেরার চেয়ে বড় হয়ে থাকে এবং সেগুলো কাঁধে বহন করতে হয়।  

A professional video camera (often called a television camera even through the use has spread beyond television) is a high end device for creating electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, and direct to video movies. There are two types of professional video cameras. High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high end camcorders) used for Electronic news gathering (ENG) and Electronic field production (EFP) image acquisition, and television studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are after fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder.
