রাজ কাঁকড়া

আটলান্টিক রাজ কাঁকড়া আমেরিকান রাজ কাঁকড়া নামেও পরিচিত যা লোনা এবং মোহনা অঞ্চলে সেলিসেরাট আর্থ্রােপোড প্রজাতির রাজ কাঁকড়া। আটলান্টিক রাজ কাঁকড়াগুলো একমাত্র আমেরিকাতে বিস্তৃত। আটলান্টিক রাজ কাঁকড়া অগভীর উপকূলবর্তী বাসস্থান যেমন উপহ্রদ, মোহনা এবং ম্যানগ্রোভ অঞ্চলের ২০০ মিটার থেকে ৫৬ কিলোমিটার  গভীরতা পর্যন্ত বিস্তৃত । এটি সুন্দরবন এবং বঙ্গোপসাগরের উপকূলবর্তী এলাকায় পাওয়া যায়।                                              

King crab

The Atlantic horseshoe crab also known as the American horseshoe crab or king crab is a species of marine and brackish chelicerate arthropod. The Atlantic horseshoe crab is the only extant species of horseshoe crab native to the Americans. Atlantic horseshoe crabs range from shallow coastal habitats such as lagoons, estarries and Mangrove to depths of more than 200 m up to 56 km off shore. It is found in Sundarban and coastal area of the Bay of  Bengal
