সাইনাপটুরা

সাইনাপটুরা,শোলের একটি বংশধর। বেশিরভাগ প্রজাতি ইন্দো-প্রশান্ত মহাসাগরীয় এবং গ্রীষ্মমন্ডলীয় পূর্ব আটলান্টিকের লবণ এবং মোহনা পানিতে পাওয়া যায়, তবে সাইনাপটুরা অস্ট্রেলিয়াতে স্বাদুপানিতে সীমাবদ্ধ। এই গণের বৃহত্তম প্রজাতি ৫০ সেন্টিমিটার পর্যন্ত লম্বা হয়।বাংলাদেশে এটি ম্যানগ্রোভ বনভূমি, উপকূলীয় এলাকায় পাওয়া যায়।

Synaptura

Synaptura  is a genus of soles. Most species are found in salt and brackish water in the Indo-Pacific and tropical East Atlantic, but Synaptura restricted to fresh water in Australia. The largest species in the genus reaches a length of 50 cm. In Bangladesh it  is found in mangrove forest area and coastal area.
