AIDS (Acquired immune deficiency Syndrome)
প্রতিরক্ষার অভাবজনিত রোগলক্ষন সমষ্টি হচ্ছে এইচ. আই .ভি (HIV-human immune deficiency virus) তথা মানব প্রতিরক্ষা অভাব সৃষ্টিকারী ভাইরাস নামক ভাইরাসের কারনে সৃষ্ট একটি রোগ লক্ষনসমষ্টি যা মানুষের দেহে রোগ-প্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতা বা প্রতিরক্ষা তথা অনাক্রম্যতা হ্রাস করে । এর ফলে একজন এইডস রোগী খুব সহজেই যে কোনও সংক্রামক রোগে আক্রান্ত হতে পারেন, যা শেষ পর্যন্ত তার মৃত্যু ঘটাতে পারে । এইচ আই ভি ভাইরাস দ্বারা আক্রান্ত বেশির ভাগ রোগীই কোন লক্ষন ছাড়া এই রোগ বহন করে । তবে কখনো কখনো এই ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হবার ৬ থেকে ৭ সপ্তাহ পরে কিছু অনির্দিষ্ট লক্ষন দেখা দিতে পারে যেমন জ্বর , গলা ,ব্যাথা, ফুলে ওঠা নাসিকা গ্রন্থি ইত্যাদি। এইডস রোগের কোন চিকিৎসা এখনো পর্যন্ত পাওয়া যায়নি। গবেষকরা এ পর্যন্ত অনেক ঔষধ আবিষ্কার করেছেন।
এইচ আই ভি কিভাবে ছড়ায়
- এইচ আই ভি ভাইরাস আক্রান্ত ব্যক্তির রক্ত গ্রহন করলে, বা তার ব্যবহৃত ইনজেকশনের সিরিজ বা সূঁচ ব্যবহার করলে।
- এইচ আই ভি ভাইরাস দ্বারা আক্রান্ত গর্ভবতী মায়ের শিশুও আক্রান্ত হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে ,যা গর্ভধারনের শেষদিকে বা প্রসবের সময় হতে পারে।
- এইচ আই ভি ভাইরাস দ্বারা আক্রান্ত কারো সাথে অরক্ষিত যৌন সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করলে।

AIDS-Acquired immune deficiency Syndrome or deficiency of deficiency protection is HIV-positive (HIV-human immune deficiency virus) is a disease caused by a virus called human defense uncontrollable virus, which reduces the immune system or protects immunity. As a result, an AIDS patient can easily be infected with any infections disease, which can eventually cause him to die. Most patients infected with HIV virus carry this disease without any symptom.But sometimes there are some indeterminate symptoms such as fever , throat pain, headache, swollen lymph node and 6 to 7 weeks after the virus has been infected.No treatment for AIDS is yet to be found. The researchers have so far discovered many medicines.

- If a person has a blood tremfusion or using syringes or needles injected
- HIV pregnant mothers with viruses may also be infected with the baby, which may be the end of pregnancy or delivery time
- If a person have sex with someone infected with the virus

মুনীরা সুলতানা এনডিসি, অনানুষ্ঠানিক বিজ্ঞান শিক্ষা কার্যক্রমের মাধ্যমে একটি বিজ্ঞানমনস্ক জাতি গঠনের লক্ষে ৩১ অক্টোবর, ২০২৪খ্রিঃ তারিখে জাতীয় বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি জাদুঘরের মহাপরিচালক হিসেবে দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করেন।
তিনি ১৯৯৩ সালে বাংলাদেশ সিভিল সার্ভিস প্রশাসন ক্যাডারে যোগদানের মধ্য দিয়ে কর্মজীবন শুরু করেন। তিনি বেশিরভাগ সময় বিভিন্ন মন্ত্রণালয় ও অধিদপ্তরে এবং মাঠ প্রশাসনে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে উদ্ভিদবিদ্যা বিভাগ থেকে তিনি স্নাতকোত্তর ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন। চাকরিতে কর্মরত অবস্থায় তিনি নর্দান ইউনিভার্সিটি, ঢাকা থেকে গভর্নেন্স স্টাডিজ বিষয়ে দ্বিতীয় স্নাতকোত্তর ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন। তিনি ২০১৮ সালে ন্যাশনাল ডিফেন্স কলেজ থেকে ন্যাশনাল ডিফেন্স কোর্স সাফল্যের সাথে সম্পন্ন করেন।
চাকুরিরত অবস্থায় তিনি দেশে এবং বিদেশে বিভিন্ন পেশাগত প্রশিক্ষণ কোর্স সাফল্যের সাথে সম্পন্ন করেন। একটি বিজ্ঞানমনস্ক জাতি গঠনে এবং সারা দেশে বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তির সুফল ছড়িয়ে দিতে তিনি নিরলস কাজ করে যাচ্ছেন।

Munira Sultana ndc, took charge as Director General of National Museum of Science and Technology on October 31, 2024 with the aim of building a science minded nation through informal science education programs.
She started her carrier in the Bangladesh Civil Service administration cadre in 1993. She served mostly in field administration and different ministries and directorate. She earned her degree of M.Sc. in Botany from the University of Dhaka. While in service, she earned a second Masters degree in Governance Studies from the Northern University, Dhaka. She completed the National Defense Course successfully in 2018 from National Defense College.
She acquired various professional training courses during her service period in home and abroad and keenly interested in building a science minded nation and spread the blessings of Science and Technology across the country.
