আইবিএম ৪৩৩১ সিস্টেম
১৯৮৬ সালে বুয়েটের কম্পিউটার সেন্টার তৃতীয় প্রজন্মের এই কম্পিউটারটি সংগ্রহ করে। বিভিন্ন সময়ে এটিতে নানা সংযোজন বিয়োজন ঘটে। এই সিস্টেমের অপারেটিং সিস্টেম ছিল VM/CMS । এই সিস্টেমে একসংগে প্রায় শতাধিক ব্যাক্তির কাজ করার সুযোগ ছিল তবে এর সংগে সর্বোচ্চ ৩০টি টারমিনাল লাগানো হয়েছিল অর্থাৎ ৩২ জন ব্যবহারকারী এক সংগে এই কম্পিউটারে কাজ করার সুযোগ পেত। আইবিএম ৩৭০ সিস্টেমের ব্যবহারকারী প্রতিষ্ঠানও ব্যক্তি ছাড়াও অন্যান্য প্রতিষ্ঠান ও ব্যক্তি এই সিস্টেম ব্যবহার করেছেন তাদের মধ্যে উলেখযোগ্য হলো ILO, UNHCR সহ জাতিসংঘের বিভিন্ন সংস্থা, বাংলাদেশ সরকারের প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা অধিদপ্তর, যোগাযোগ মন্ত্রনালয় সহ বিভিন্ন মন্ত্রনালয় , বাংলাদেশ পরিসংখ্যান ব্যুরো ইত্যাদি। ১৯৯৪ সালে দেশের ৪টি শিক্ষা বোর্ডের অধীনে SSC ও HSC পরীক্ষার কম্পিউটারায়নের কাজেও এই সিস্টেম সীমিত ভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। ১৯৮৬ সাল থেকে ২০০০ সাল পর্যন্ত গড়ে প্রতি বছর প্রায় ১ হাজার ব্যবহারকারী এই সিস্টেম ব্যবহার করতো।
This third generation computer was collected for BUET Computer Centre in 1986. There were many additions & subtractions were done in it in time to time. The operating system of this system was VM/CMS. More than about hundred of individuals had an opportunity to work together in this system at a time; however, 30 terminals were installed with this system so that 30 users got the opportunity to work together. In addition to the user organization along with its individuals, other organizations and individuals used the IBM 370 system, notable of them were the ILO, UNHCR and the UN's various agencies, Bangladesh's Primary Education Department, Ministry of Communications, Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics, etc. This was also used limited way in the work of computerization of the SSC and HSC examinations under the four Education Boards in 1994. Averagely in each year, about one thousand users used the system from 1986 to 2000. This computer was donated by Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology on 2001.

মুনীরা সুলতানা এনডিসি, অনানুষ্ঠানিক বিজ্ঞান শিক্ষা কার্যক্রমের মাধ্যমে একটি বিজ্ঞানমনস্ক জাতি গঠনের লক্ষে ৩১ অক্টোবর, ২০২৪খ্রিঃ তারিখে জাতীয় বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি জাদুঘরের মহাপরিচালক হিসেবে দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করেন।
তিনি ১৯৯৩ সালে বাংলাদেশ সিভিল সার্ভিস প্রশাসন ক্যাডারে যোগদানের মধ্য দিয়ে কর্মজীবন শুরু করেন। তিনি বেশিরভাগ সময় বিভিন্ন মন্ত্রণালয় ও অধিদপ্তরে এবং মাঠ প্রশাসনে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে উদ্ভিদবিদ্যা বিভাগ থেকে তিনি স্নাতকোত্তর ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন। চাকরিতে কর্মরত অবস্থায় তিনি নর্দান ইউনিভার্সিটি, ঢাকা থেকে গভর্নেন্স স্টাডিজ বিষয়ে দ্বিতীয় স্নাতকোত্তর ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন। তিনি ২০১৮ সালে ন্যাশনাল ডিফেন্স কলেজ থেকে ন্যাশনাল ডিফেন্স কোর্স সাফল্যের সাথে সম্পন্ন করেন।
চাকুরিরত অবস্থায় তিনি দেশে এবং বিদেশে বিভিন্ন পেশাগত প্রশিক্ষণ কোর্স সাফল্যের সাথে সম্পন্ন করেন। একটি বিজ্ঞানমনস্ক জাতি গঠনে এবং সারা দেশে বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তির সুফল ছড়িয়ে দিতে তিনি নিরলস কাজ করে যাচ্ছেন।

Munira Sultana ndc, took charge as Director General of National Museum of Science and Technology on October 31, 2024 with the aim of building a science minded nation through informal science education programs.
She started her carrier in the Bangladesh Civil Service administration cadre in 1993. She served mostly in field administration and different ministries and directorate. She earned her degree of M.Sc. in Botany from the University of Dhaka. While in service, she earned a second Masters degree in Governance Studies from the Northern University, Dhaka. She completed the National Defense Course successfully in 2018 from National Defense College.
She acquired various professional training courses during her service period in home and abroad and keenly interested in building a science minded nation and spread the blessings of Science and Technology across the country.
