এডিস মশার জীবনচক্র

এডিস মশার জীবনচক্র ডিম পাড়ার পরবর্তী সময় থেকে চারটি ধাপে ডিম ,লাভা পিউপা এবং পূর্ণাঙ্গ অবস্থা সম্পন্ন হয়। তার জন্য এক সপ্তাহ বা কয়েক সপ্তাহ সময় লাগতে পারে। স্ত্রী এই মশাগুলো বন্যার সময় জলাধার যেমন, গাছের গর্ত বা উদ্ভিদ অক্ষের এর কাছাকাছি কালো রঙের ডিম জমা করে । ডিম পাড়ার জন্য সবচেয়ে উপযোগী জায়গা হচ্ছে মানুষের তৈরি জিনিসপত্র যেমন মাঠির পাত্র, প্লাস্টিকের বোতল এবং গাড়ির চাকা । পানিতে নিমজ্জনের পর ডিম থেকে বাচ্চা ফোটার এই প্রক্রিয়াটি কয়েকদিন বা কয়েক সপ্তাহ পর্যন্ত সময় লাগতে পারে যদিও কিছিু ডিম ফোটার পূর্বে কয়েক বার পানিতে নিমজ্জনের প্রয়োজন হয়।

The life cycle of Aedes  mosquitoes commits of four stages ,egg, larva,pupa and adult. With adults emerging any where from seven days to several weeks after egg hatching .Females deposit black-colored eggs singly on a moist surface close to the waterline in locations that experience flooding. Such as marshes, tree holes, or plant axils (point of connection between the leaf and stem).Human-made objects, such as day pots, plastic containers and tires are common egg-laying sites. Following immersion in water, eggs hatch in batches process that may last days or weeks, since some eggs enquire multiple soakings in water before hatching.
