ক্যামেলিয়ন

ক্যামিলিয়ন অদ্ভুত এক প্রাণী। প্রকৃতির বিস্ময়ও বলা যায়। গ্রিকরা একে বলত লিটল লায়ন বা ক্ষুদ্র সিংহ। এটি একটি খুব উৎসুক সরীসৃপ।এক ফুটের বেশি লম্বা হবে না। এরা খুব সহজে রং পরিবর্তন করতে পারে। এ জন্য এরা বিখ্যাত। অন্য সরীসৃপরাও এই ব্যাপারটা উপভোগ করে। কিন্তু কিছু দিন আগে ক্যামেলিয়ন ছিল খুবই সাধারণ একটি প্রাণী। তাদের আরও অদ্ভুত আচার-আচরণ মানুষকে অবাক করত। এদের একটি লম্বা লেজ আছে। লেজের সাহায্যে এরা কোনো কিছুকে শক্ত করে আঁকড়ে ধরতে পারে।
