ইউরিয়া বা কার্বামাইড একটি জৈব যৌব যার রাসায়নিক ফর্মূলা হলো (NH₂)₂CO। অণুটির দুইটি এমিন (-NH₂) গ্রুপ একটি কার্বনিল (C=O) কার্যকরণ গ্রুপের সাথে যুক্ত হয়ে আছে। ইউরিয়া ব্যাপকভাবে সারের মধ্যে নাইট্রোজেনের একটি সুবিধাজনক উৎস হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। শিল্প প্রত্রিয়ায়: প্রথমে, বায়ু ও বাষ্প প্রাকৃতিক গ্যাসে (রিফর্মিং প্লান্টে) যোগ করা হয়। বিক্রিয়ার পরে, গ্যাস মিশ্রণের মধ্যে এখানে H₂, CO₂, CO ও N₂ থাকে। এই মিশ্রণকে কার্বনেট দ্রবণে শোষণ করাইলে CO₂ অপসারিত (বা শোষিত) হয়। তখন অবশিষ্টকে কপার লিকারের ভিতর দিয়ে চালনা করলে CO বিদুরিত হয়। এরপর, বিশুদ্ধ H₂ ও N₂ কনভার্টারে পাঠানো হয় এমোনিয়া উৎপাদন জন্য এবং তরল এমোনিয়া সংগ্রহস্থলে সংরক্ষিত হয়। পৃথকীকরণের জন্য শোষিত CO₂ উত্তপ্ত করা হয় এবং গ্যাস ধারকের মধ্যে সংরক্ষিত হয়। এরপর সংরক্ষিত CO₂- তরলীকৃত করা হয়। তরল CO₂ ও তরল NH₃ অটোক্লেভে পাম্প করা হয়। ইউরিয়া দ্রবণকে এখান থেকে ইভোপরেটরে পাঠিয়ে ৯৯.৭% ইউরিয়া দ্রবণ প্রস্তুত করা হয়। এই দ্রবণকে পিলিং টাওয়ারের উপর হইতে নীচে ফেলা হয় এবং নীচ হইতে উপরের দিকে বায়ু প্রেরণ করা হয়। ফলে ইউরিয়া ছোট ছোট বড়ি নিম্নে পতিত হয়। এই ইউরিয়া দানাকে স্বয়ংক্রিয় মেশিনে বস্তাবন্দী করা হয়।

Urea or carbamide is an organic compound with the chemical formula formula (NH₂)₂CO. The molecule has two amine (-NH₂) groups joined by a carbony (C=O) functional group. Urea is widely used in fertilizers as a convenient source of nitrogen. In industrial process: at first, air and steam are added to natural gas (in reforming plant). After reaction, there are H₂, CO₂, CO and N₂ in the gas mixture here. By this mixture absorbed this mixture through carbonate solution, CO₂ is absorbed. Then the remaining is passed through copper liqueur to eliminate CO. After then, pure H₂ & N₂ are sent to the converter to produce ammonia and the liquid ammonia is preserved in storage. The absorbed CO₂ is heated to be separated and stored in gas holder. Then the stored CO₂ is liquefied. The liquid CO₂ and liquid NH₃ are pumped to autoclave. The urea solution is sent from here to the evaporator prepare the 99.7% of urea solution. This solution is dropped from the top of the piling tower along with flow of air from bottom to top. So small piles of urea are formed and fall down. The piles are collected in bags with the help of automatic machines.
