বনবিড়াল

চিতাবাঘ বিড়ালটি দক্ষিন ,দক্ষিন-পূর্ব এবং পূর্ব এশিয়া মহাদেশের একটি ছোট প্রজাতির বনবিড়াল। ব্যাপক ভাবে বিচরন করা  সত্ত্বেও ২০০২ সালে এটিকে আইসিইউএন এর রেড লিস্টে বিলুপ্ত প্রায় প্রজাতি হিসেবে তালিকাভুক্ত করা হয়েছে। যার অন্যতম কারন হচ্ছে এর বাসস্থানের ক্ষতি এবং অবাধ শিকার। এটি বাংলাদেশে ব্যাপক আকারে পাওয়া যায়।

Wild cat

The leopard cat is a small wild cat native to continental south, southeast, and East Asia. Since 2002 it has been listed as least concern on the IUCN Red list as it is widely distributed although threatened by habitat loss and hunting in parts of its range.It is widely found throughout the country (Bangladesh).
